Why We Can’t Wait Until October 2026
Why We Can’t Wait Until October 2026 | If you’ve been following my work in Prince George, from the Downtown Business Owners Advocacy Group to the 2022 election, you know that I don’t believe in “business as usual” at City Hall.
I’m launching this updated site, Zukowski.City, because our community is at a breaking point. For over eight years, we have seen a shift in Prince George that many of us no longer recognize. We see the crime, the open drug use in our parks, and the vandalism that plagues our small businesses. Most importantly, we see a City Council that seems more accountable to the “Administrative Caucus” than to the taxpayers who pay the bills.
This isn’t just a campaign site; it’s an education hub. In the coming months, I will be using this space to break down:
- The Real Meaning of Stewardship: How your tax dollars are actually being spent (and mismanaged).
- Restoring Order: Tangible solutions for street disorder that go beyond “open houses” and “town hall” showboating.
- True Accountability: Defining the actual duties of the Mayor, Council, and CAO so you know exactly who to hold responsible.
Prince George is the “big brother” to the North. We are a community that looks after its neighbors. It’s time we had a City Hall that looks after us.
Stay tuned. The road to October 2026 starts with being informed.
